  We had our wedding at Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel in August of 2016. The chapel is beautiful and was perfect for a wedding ceremony. The outdoor walkway between buildings was great for wedding pictures. However, the building does not have air conditioning so I would not recommend using it during the summer months. It is also pricey to rent for a few hours considering it doesn't have air conditioning. I would also be careful when scheduling your event. We booked our wedding well in advance and was told the day before (rehearsal day) that the college freshmen would be moving in to the building next to the chapel on our wedding day and there would be outdoor music, food, bounce house, etc. in the lawn next to the chapel. We should have been told when we booked that the move in day was on our wedding day... we would never have booked the chapel if we knew that! Our guests had to park across the street (not in the parking lot right next to the chapel) because of the move in day and it looked liked my guests were going to attend a carnival as they pulled up. We were also told that the college would do its "best" to keep the noise down during our wedding ceremony-- this scheduling conflict should have never happened! So if you use the chapel, make sure to ask a lot of questions about the school's schedule before signing any contracts.
